About App Passwords

Bluesky uses App Passwords for third-party app access. Generate one at Settings > App Passwords in your Bluesky account. This keeps your main password secure while allowing Greenwood Apps to post on your behalf.

Improved YouTube Account Security

We've added automatic handling of YouTube token revocations using Google RISC (Risk and Incident Sharing and Coordination) to keep your Greenwood Apps connections in sync with your Google account security settings.

What's New

• Instant revocation detection – When you revoke Greenwood Apps access from your Google account, we receive a real-time RISC notification.
• Automatic cleanup – YouTube accounts associated with revoked tokens are immediately marked as disconnected in Greenwood.
• No orphaned posts – Any scheduled posts for revoked YouTube accounts are skipped instead of attempting to publish and failing.

• Token Expiration Warnings – Get notified before your account authorization expires so you can reauthorize in time.

• Account Authorization Issues – Get notified right away if there's a problem with your connected accounts.

How It Works

Notifications appear in the app header and on your dashboard. Click any notification to take action, such as reauthorizing an account or retrying a failed post.

Fixed Instagram Carousel Bug

Resolved an issue where Instagram carousels would sometimes fail to upload.

Details

The bug occurred when images had certain EXIF metadata. We now properly strip problematic metadata before upload.
