TikTok Integration

TikTok is built around one vertical video at a time. Connect your account once and Greenwood Social publishes videos and photo slideshows on the schedule you set — with TikTok's disclosure, comment, and interaction settings available per post.

Connecting your account

Add TikTok from your Accounts page. You'll be sent to TikTok to approve Greenwood Social, then returned to the app with the account connected. Nothing publishes until you schedule a post.

TikTok's own rules apply to what we can publish: an account in a restricted or private state, or one that isn't allowed to post publicly, will reject posts no matter how they're scheduled.

What you type, and where it shows up

One post can go to several platforms at once, so each platform uses your fields a little differently. The thing to know about TikTok: a video has no separate description. Your Title is the caption. Content is only used on photo slideshows.

Media requirements

Images per postup to 35 (at least 1)
Image formatsJPG, WEBP
Max image size20.0 MB
Image dimensionsat least 480×480. Anything larger than 1080×1920 is resized down for you.
Video formatsMP4, MOV
Max video size4.0 GB
Video lengthat least 3 seconds, up to 10 minutes
If your file doesn't fitWe convert it for you where we can — images become JPG and video becomes MP4. Files we can't bring within these limits are reported before the post is scheduled, not after.

PNG images are converted to JPEG before upload — TikTok rejects PNGs. Multiple images become a slideshow rather than separate posts.

These are the options TikTok exposes to partner tools through its API. Platforms often test new settings inside their own app long before opening them to tools like ours — when that happens the option simply isn't available to us until they publish it.

The three disclosure flags are independent. Label as AI-Generated adds TikTok's AI disclosure; Branded Content and Brand Organic describe a commercial relationship. Set whichever actually apply — TikTok requires the disclosure, and setting the wrong one is its own problem.

Save as Draft sends the post to your TikTok inbox instead of publishing. Drafts land in the TikTok mobile app — check your Notifications there, not the web app.

Scheduling

Schedule TikTok posts for any future time — see Scheduled Posting for how times, timezones, and cancellation work.
