X (Twitter) Integration | Documentation

Post text, images, and video to X on a schedule. Long posts are handled for you — if what you've written runs past the character limit, we publish it as a self-reply thread instead of rejecting it.

Connecting your account

Add X from your Accounts page and approve the connection on X. That's the whole setup.

What you type, and where it shows up

X posts are just text plus optional media. There's no title, and no separate link field — a URL in your post text is what X turns into a preview card, so that's where yours is placed.

Long posts become threads

A text post longer than the limit is split across a self-reply thread automatically, so the character count on a text-only post isn't a hard ceiling. A post with media attached can't thread, so the limit does apply there.

Media requirements

Images per post	up to 4 (at least 1)

Video length	up to 2 minutes 20 seconds
If your file doesn't fit	We convert it for you where we can — images become JPG and video becomes MP4. Files we can't bring within these limits are reported before the post is scheduled, not after.

Premium accounts can upload substantially longer video than standard accounts. We read your account's tier when the connection is made and validate against the right limit.

These are the options X exposes to partner tools through its API. Platforms often test new settings inside their own app long before opening them to tools like ours — when that happens the option simply isn't available to us until they publish it.

X exposes these numbers through its API, but we don't collect them into your dashboard yet — the collector for X is still to come, so the Metrics tab shows X as coming rather than empty.
